Click on Start, then click on Connect to.
Click on Setup Connection or Network.
Click on Connect to Internet then click next.
Click on Dial-up then click next.
Now enter the ISP infromation provide to you. Under Connection name put in Valuelinx.net.
Now click connect, then click skip, then click setup connection anyways, then click close.
Close out all windows so you see the desktop.
Now click Start , then click Network.
Click on Network and Sharing Center.
In left hand pane click on Manage network connections.
Right click your Valuelinx.net icon and choose create shortcut and then click yes to popup window.
Right click the icon again and this time choose properties.
Make sure there isn't a check in the box Use dialing rules.
Click on the Options tab.
Change idle time befroe hanging up to 1 hour.
Now click the PPP Settings button.
Uncheck Enable LCP Extensions, then click OK.
Click on the Networking tab.
Uncheck Internet Protocol Version 6.
Uncheck QoS Packet Scheduler.
Check the box Client for Microsoft Networks.
Click OK and close out all windows. You are finished.
